The Mother and the Sea
Synopsis
Shot on the beach of Vila Chã, in Vila do Conde, "A Mãe e o Mar" is a documentary about the women-fishers, considered a unique case in the world. Here, they are represented by Glória, the only woman who, after so many years and so many adversities, still dares to face the sea. Through interviews and various conversations where she recalls the past.
